    I have been a customer of the Erie Beach Hotel for 37 years. It is a tradition to go there for perch dinners. Over the years, there have been some changes, but the food is consistently tasty and well prepared. The lake perch is what makes this place famous (along with their salad cart selection and celery bread). You will never leave unsatisfied and your tastebuds will be oh-so-pleased with you. That being said, I do wish the Erie Beach would "undo" to last decor updates to the Cove Room overlooking the terrace and return this dining room to the wonderful retro time capsule that everyone fell in love with! Everyone misses the white uniforms on wait staff and the level of professionalism that seems to have gone with that. The Erie Beach needs to keep some of its timeless charm despite changing times. It would go such a long way in maintaining the tradition that so many of us have in visiting regularly.
